Ask the AI Helper About Your Shop

What It Is and Who Can Use It

Tap a button, type a question in plain English, and the helper answers from your real shop data, opens pages, and (with your approval) takes actions like sending a bill. It is not the phone receptionist (that talks to callers, this talks to you). It is for owners, managers, dispatchers, bookkeepers, and front-desk staff. Techs and view-only members never see the button, because it can read your whole shop's data. To give a tech access, change their role in Settings > Team.

Opening It

Tap the purple sparkle button at the bottom-right of any screen. Tap the X or press Escape to close. The chat stays if you reopen it on the same screen and resets on reload. Tap the round arrow (New chat) to start over.

Asking and Jumping Around

Ask anything about your data ("How much did I make this month?", "What invoices are overdue?", "What am I low on?"). It reads live records and does the math. Say "open Mark Rober" or "open invoice 1043" to jump there; if a name matches several it lists them. It only helps with your shop and KeyBolt.

Actions Need Your Approval

Ask it to do something and it shows an Approve / Skip card. Nothing happens until you tap green Approve, and it can only do what your role allows. It can draft an invoice or estimate, Send Bill on an existing invoice, schedule or dispatch a job or move its status, add a customer or set their email/address, apply a tag, add a Colab note, or text a customer / send an "on my way" message (Pro only). It cannot delete customers, void or refund invoices, change payouts, or touch billing.

Texting Needs Pro; Key Codes Stay Out of Chat

Texting and "on my way" need KeyBolt Pro (your business line). On Basic, tapping Approve on a text says it requires Pro and sends nothing (upgrade). The helper will never put a key code, bitting, or safe combination in chat; those go only in the customer's secure editor, encrypted.

Limits and Privacy

If it is briefly busy, wait a minute and ask again. Limit: 50 messages per person per hour, plus the monthly chat pool. It can also search your knowledge base. Conversations stay in your org under a no-training agreement; key codes are never sent to the AI.
