Set Up Your LSA Auto-Reply
Why This Matters
When a new Google Local Service Ads lead comes in, how fast you respond is the single biggest thing Google looks at when it decides whether to show you above your competitors. Replying within seconds is hard to do by hand all day. KeyBolt's auto-reply posts a short message back to every new lead the moment it arrives, so your response time stays near-instant even when you are under a car or on another job.
Find this under Google LSA in the sidebar, on the Settings tab. On a phone, tap More, then Google LSA.
Step 1: Connect Google LSA
The auto-reply only appears after your Google account is connected and your LSA account is picked. On the Settings tab, find the Google Local Service Ads card and tap Connect Google LSA. Sign in with the same Google account that owns your LSA listing.
After you connect, KeyBolt asks you to pick which Google Ads / Local Services account to read leads from. Tap Use this account next to the right one. If the connect step gives you trouble, the card has a Diagnose connect issues button that shows exactly what to check.
Once connected, you can tap Send test lead to drop a pretend lead into your inbox. That lets you see the auto-reply fire and check how a lead looks, without waiting for a real customer.
Step 2: Turn the Auto-Reply On
With the account connected, an Auto-reply card appears lower on the page. It has a single on/off switch. Leave it on unless you genuinely plan to answer every single lead by hand within seconds. When it is off, the message editor below it dims and nothing is sent automatically.
Step 3: Write Your Message
Under Message body is the text that gets posted back to the customer the instant a lead arrives. KeyBolt starts you with a friendly default. Edit it to sound like you. A counter shows your length out of 1000 characters, with a reminder to keep it under 300 for best results.
Above the message you will see an Insert button labeled Category. Tap it to drop a token into your message where your cursor is. At send time, that token fills in with the lead's service category (for example, "locksmith"). The How the lead sees it preview shows your message with the token filled in, so you always know what the customer will actually read.
When you are happy, tap Save changes. KeyBolt shows an "Unsaved changes" note until you do.
Keep It Human
Do not paste marketing-blast copy here. Google scores LSA replies for spam and pushes down accounts that send templated-sounding messages. A short, plain, person-sounding note ("Hi, this is your locksmith. Got your message through Google. We'll text or call you right back.") protects your ranking far better than a flashy one.
When Does It Send?
The auto-reply goes out immediately on every new lead. There is no delay setting. Your team can then keep the conversation going from the unified inbox like any other message.
